Introducing an innovative short story resource designed to cater to a range of reading abilities! This engaging story is presented in three distinct versions: the blue version targets age 4 reading ability, the orange version is aimed at age 8, and the green version suits age 12. Each version is thoughtfully divided into chapters, allowing students to switch levels seamlessly at the end of any chapter. For example, the age 4 Chapter 2 will perfectly lead into the age 12 Chapter 3, making it ideal for classrooms with students of varying reading levels. This flexibility allows teachers to guide students of different abilities to engage with the same narrative, fostering a collaborative reading experience. The teacher can simply show the corresponding color to indicate which version the students should read, enabling smooth transitions and effective differentiation. This original idea promotes subtle scaffolding, helping students practice and shift between ability levels as they develop their reading skills. As this is a new concept, we are excited to gather feedback and, depending on its success, we plan to release more stories in the future.
